What services are available in my area?

Rural Lynx provides solutions in the Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Township and surrounding areas. Once we receive an inquiry, we perform an off-site survey to validate service availability. If the test is positive, we book an installation and conduct a final signal test to ensure no obstructions like heavy trees or buildings interfere.

Will I need a tower? What is the cost?

In some instances, a tower is required to obtain line-of-sight to our towers due to elevation or surrounding obstructions like trees. The cost depends on the height and type of tower needed. Please inquire for specific details.

How will I know which plan is best for my needs?

Each plan lists the download and upload speeds. For light browsing and sending emails, a lower plan is sufficient. If you do a lot of streaming or have multiple family members using various devices at once, a bigger plan is recommended. A Rural Lynx associate is happy to assist in picking the right plan for you. Is there an installation fee?

Yes. Installation fees can be covered by a rental fee, or paid as a one-time fee.

Includes 100’ of cable, 2 hours labour, J-mount or mast pipe, one-time radio rental fee. Extra costs apply for additional equipment (router, mounting hardware, relay, etc.)

Do I need to provide my own Wifi router?

Yes, you will need to provide your own WiFi router to connect to our service. Rural Lynx can provide a list of recommended routers based on your home size and needs.

Can I suspend service temporarily?

Yes, RuralLynx will place your service on hold for a small monthly charge.
